On my freelance journey with Lancome Cosmetics, I had the opportunity to try a wide array of their collections while gaining expertise through training from senior artists. When it comes to skincare, Lancome surely delivers and exceeds my expectations especially since traveling has an effect on my skin. One key to makeup artistry is that skincare always comes first. It’s more effective to pinpoint and treat blemishes, acne and skin conditions before trying to cake the concealer on, hoping that’ll fix the problem.

In 2009 Lancome launched their Gènifique collection; I was ecstatic. I went through training with Liza Seymour and account executive along with other various artists who freelanced. Advanced Gènefique is a powerful youth activating serum essentially. It’s quite potent and boosts a youthful radiance like no other. I choose this product over any other skincare line… Unless they can come up with something better.

Overall I have normal skin but it changes depending on the atmosphere and what my diet is. I prefer products that are oil-free and lightweight which are the key components in their serum.
