Makeup Forever, Step 1 Equalizer: Smoothing Primer

Makeup Forever offers a line of Primers that are made to work with your skins needs to create a base that’s silky-smooth and flawless. I’ve been using their line for about two years now and have just recently started using the Smoothing Primer again… definitely a fav. I have sensitive skin with minor texture so this really helps me a lot and is suitable for those with fine lines, wrinkles and/or texture.

    Highlighted Ingredients:
    - Hyaluronic Acid: Hydrates and helps skin retain water.
    - Regeactive: Helps skin appear more even.
    - Acti Tensor 3D: Helps to smooth the skin for longer-lasting makeup coverage.

Ben Nye, Banana Powder / Lite+

An industry favorite by many Artists-

I trust their banana powder so greatly because it works for every skin type which isn’t something that is common amongst various powders. The powder delivers an elegant, smooth, natural skin-like, satin-matte finish. Depending on how much you use and for how you long set, the more intense the hold. Often times for a daily look you’re best off simply swiping gently across the face with a big powder brush. Baking isn’t always necessary. I have combo skin, who wears beauty/glam and sfx makeup on a daily basis. I need something that’ll keep my look fresh throughout the day and night… even after I sweat, this powder still holds my makeup together. Five stars, always.

    Ben Nye F/X Creme Color:

  • FX-12 Chrome Yellow

  • FX-97 Blue

  • FX 8-Black

  • FX-0 White

  • FX-31 Fire Red

I first started off with very little colors and tools as an Artist, thus I taught myself how to use just a few products for everything. It’s important to get creative and innovative with your products so that you be versatile in your craft. You should be a Master at Color Theory; simply creating many different colors (dull to bright and everything in between) with your Primary colors.

I highly recommend their F/X Creme Color set as their pots are silky, easy to manipulate and create with. I’d say it’s the perfect amount of consistency per application.
