Maestro Makeup Review

“Next time you think of beautiful things, don’t forget to count yourself in”

They're Real! Xtreme Precision Liner, precision water-proof liquid eyeliner

My type of eyeliner is one that is extremely fine, precise, doesn’t bleed and lasts all day. The pointed tip on Benefits Xtreme precision liner helps me to create an opaque, sharp liner that creates a lifting effect to my eyes. Xtreme precision is exactly just that—and as a working woman who is constantly on the go and traveling, I never have to worry about my liner bleeding or creating a mess around my eyes after 12+ hours. I’ve accidentally fallen asleep in this liner and guess what? It didn’t even budge, not even a little bit. Talk about eyeliner #goals

The POREfessional Hydrate Primer

I can’t believe how dry my skin is after living in a major city for the past 6-7 years; it’s almost trifiling and frustrating how dry my skin gets but I need not fret anymore, especially with this primer. I love both of benefits primers however this gives me the extra hydration and smoothness my skin NEEDS when I’m wearing makeup; whether that’s a full face of makeup or just a little touch up around my eyes and cheeks. Keeping my makeup in tact while traveling, working, etc. is quite the task when you’re dealing with dry skin such as myself. With the Hyaluronic Acid which attracts moisture and helps maintain hydration, I feel a great sense of relief when applying all over my face because it’s soooooo silky smooth. The shea moisture helps smooth the skin and keeps it moisturized which is all I could really ask for at this time in my life. Thank you, Benefit. This is exactly what I needed and am glad you can provide just that.

Cliniques High Impact Mascara

I’ve tried many, many mascaras over the years. Cliniques High Impact Mascara will always be a staple as it’s notorious for creating beautiful, elongated eyelashes with volume. Lets be real, that’s not always easy to come by, especially when you wear makeup quite often-the constant use of mascara does have an effect on the eyelashes that might not make them as thick and luxurious over time. Clinique always does the job for me though, and a fine one too. However, I would suggest grabbing this one in ‘Water-proof’—I’ve noticed if I wear the non water-proof version of this mascara, it’ll bleed under my eyes. Something to think about. All in all, one of the best mascaras i’ve ever used for LENGTH, creating this butterfly effect for my eyelashes. I can’t get enough of it.
