I always keep some newbies in my makeup bag each month from high and low-end brands to see whats popping. Here’s some of my favs from this past month in April.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Matte Liquid Lipstick

What I love most about this (now holy grail) lipstick is that it doesn’t dry out my lips at all. It’s long-lasting, opaque and evens out lip color. This should be a must-have for everyones makeup bag. It’s too amazing. Might I add, it’s really soft of the lips, feels velvety since it dries to a weightless powder on the lips. 10/10

MAC Hyper Real Serumizer

Store Manager at the MAC counter in DTLA Macy’s tossed this as a gift while waiting for her finish up with another customer. I’m usually hesitant to try new skincare products as I have sensitive skin however, I fell in love immediately. Currently i’m dealing with dry and acne-prone skin, yet this moisturizer + serum in one kept my skin moisturized without being too dry nor too oily. Gave me very normal skin. This hybrid retexturizes your skin, strengthens skin barrier while giving you a beautiful radiance. Loved it.

MAC Skinfinished Sunstruck Matte Bronzer

Perfect for summer time; I love the finish and dimension it gives me.Water-proof, sweat and humidity resistant (clutch for a city girl like me). Lasting 24 hours, this bronzer seriously stands the test of time and environmental factors. I can’t live without this bronzer, it’s my go-to. Even when I don’t wear a full face, I’ll just put this one with some lipgloss, mascara and will be good to go!
